'We' made the 'front page'!!

Just prior to Christmas I was tapping away on the keys as the weather continued to be less than favourable and in doing so sent off a picture to the 16mm Association and yes, it was photo of the week for Xmas (See HERE)! What will people think of this young (not so) novice upstart - ah well years of practice really!

So what did Santa bring you for Xmas? As expected I had several items for the BLL which will keep me busy in the workshop (garage actually).

Well Christmas is past and after a quiet couple of days where the senior director of the BLL continued to make good progress on her one leg it was a case of a taking advantage of a fine day on Boxing Day and getting out in the garden to do some measuring and post putting in! So I managed to install several 'Metposts' (other makes are available) ready to receive the uprights. A good time for doing it as the plants die back so hopefully by the Spring we will be much further advanced and actually have the track down. It's good to see things gradually coming into play.

Yesterday (Thursday I think, its all a bit confusing this week) was a good opportunity to run the train at Buckfastleigh and several people were out as the sun fought its way through on several occasions.

So now back to the drawing board as I need to order some timber to sit upon those 'Metposts' I have installed.

The 'Director' at the helm - so to speak!
