'Blizzard blocks the BLL'!!

Well not an actual blizzard, unlike North Cornwall yesterday which came to a grinding halt over the high moor and made national headlines, here in the real world a slight scattering of snow had its effect also.

As can be seen from this morning's pictures snow ploughs are not required but being good rail operators I thought it prudent after carrying out the risk assessment to station (!!) a watch keeper on 'Barney Halt' (yet to be formally adopted) - just in case.

" Wot, no PPE"!

So as the current weather conditions prevail its back to the construction table in the engine shed to carry on the work with the new 'FIRE' tanker currently under construction.
Based loosely, very loosely in fact, on rail wagons provided specifically for complementing firefighting operations (well I have to get the Fire Service influence in somehow) this specialist wagon will support the firefighting capability of the BLL.

FF1 under construction
Not quite the Swiss model, see HERE!!

Possible delays with construction may occur due to Brexit and of course the Six Nations Rugby which commences this evening!!!
