"Working on the railway ..."!

Further progress being made as the fine weather continues so we decided to embark more effort on the Northern section of the BLL.
Having previously now completed the Southern section over the soft ground I have also had my instructions on how we will be replanting our once colourful flowerbed to ensure we return to a height of colour in the summer - interspersed with steam of course! What we boys have to endure.

Looking good - was!
Anyway back to today and it was a case of installing more uprights across the 'amazing' patio (in joke) and using the old roof boards from Sheila's previous shed we cut out the templates for the sidings and station area. Some marine ply will then be cut using the templates as patterns.

The senior director took a very active part in this work today...

"..and what do I do with this Merv'"?

So good progress being made but more work in the pipeline...

The new addition to the rolling stock is also progressing - the Firefighting Support Wagon - has now been painted and 'weathered', some transfers have been added which Sheila designed and printed on decal water jet transfer paper, but still a little more work to be carried out before completion.

Wagon 4000 - FSW (prior to weathering and transfers)
