Yesterday, Saturday was a nice sunny, frosty day - went (alone) to Buckfast and started tearing up the garden railway with the SDGRG working party. Worked until 1400 - still sunny after a very blowy/wet week.
Sunday has been an even better day after thick morning frost - sunny 17ยบ by lunch time (I know that because of my new super greenhouse thermometers in my new super greenhouse)! So after a few domestic chores I brushed off the track (again) after the recent gales and ran Doris and Phyllis. Couple of minor mishaps but eventually Doris left to her own timetable whilst Phyllis chased and caught up when and if necessary!
Even managed a few ‘sound effects’ but too many buttons to press and levers to pull then - and the ‘fat controller’ was not there to assist.
Ah well- back to the house decorating!!!
