Track laying .... just need some actual track!

Well the weather is dry and so I thought I would take advantage of it and make an attempt to at least find a level in the garden after some early pruning, so here is the result.....

I now have a level which my trusty assistant (who is currently on sick leave) and I marked out a few weeks ago. This should eliminate the incline on the first 14m until the track meets the 'Sheepham Incline' on the Northern spur. Keeping this to a minimum will be crucial and will form a later phase of the main loop.

So, one down - lots still to go - but it is progress!!!
