It is now a week since we returned from our Canadian trip - almost a distant memory. Never!
Sunday afternoon and we have just returned from the South Devon Railway, Buckfastleigh, who are celebrating their 50th Anniversary this year, and also host the site of 'our' garden railway group.
We took the opportunity to run our new addition which is a Roundhouse 'Bulldog' diesel (actually powered by battery). It comes complete with radio control, a sound card that gives engine running sounds - and a 'whistle', a headlight and an intertia system that gives a realistic controlled stop (Thanks Tag for the advice). All very exciting (well yes it is)!
Also having completed a new piece of rolling stock i.e the Sheepham Fire Brigade, Fire Support Unit (!!!!) and decorated our train crew and installed them in position - off to Buckfastleigh we went. Enjoy a few pictures......
