New wagon given the run around!

Well after a busy couple of days doing other things the sun shone brightly today so it was time this afternoon to run some locomotives and new rolling stock that has been constructed in the 'workshop' - well garage actually!

The 'short coach', like much of the other rolling stock comes as a flat pack kit (no not from IKEA) and is in grey plastic. So after much toiling away on the coach including additional interior furnishings  and a couple of passengers to journey in the coach - it was test run time.

Both 'Dennis the Diesel' and 'Phyllis' the steamer had the privilege of pulling the new addition, along with a number of other wagons.

A successful outcome to the afternoon. It is now back to the workshop to finish off another wagon and consider some lineside buildings that need to be constructed and painted - including a Fire Station!
